The examination packet
for each program includes a written course evaluation
and a multiple-choice examination with 10 items for
1.5 credit programs and 20 items for 3.0 credit
programs.
These examinations are based on both the audio recording and the handout. You will need to listen to the recording and read the handout to achieve a passing score on the program examination.
After receiving the examination packet there is no deadline to complete it. Along with completing the examination, you will sign an affirmation that you listened to the recording, read the handout, and completed the examination without assistance.
A passing score of 70% is needed to document course completion and receive credit. Forms documenting your EMDRIA credits will be dated as of the date of passing the exam.
If you do not pass the exam the first time, you may retake the examination to obtain a passing score. The first retake is without additional charge. For subsequent retakes, there is a $10 fee.
The examination packets are sent via first class mail. They are not available to be sent via email or downloaded. You may return your completed examination packets and course evaluations by either mail or fax.
