Only mental health professionals eligible to be licensed to practice psychotherapy are accepted for training by EMDR International Association approved training programs.
To be sure a psychotherapist has appropriate training in EMDR verify they have completed an EMDRIA™ approved training program in EMDR. To confirm a psychotherapist has appropriate experience and proficiency in EMDR look for those who have earned the designation "EMDRIA™ Certified in EMDR." This optional, advanced designation requires completing both supervised training and approved consultation.

I provide EMDR treatment in Santa Rosa. Due to the volume of requests, except for my own patients and their families, I do not provide specific referrals to other EMDR trained clinicians.
